Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

It is kind of a mesh between Eragon, Divergent, and Avatar: The Last Airbender, just trust me on this.  The story played out wonderfully and left few (if any) plot holes. The main character is a strong female lead that is also extremely relatable.  The book also twisted and turned differently than how I predicted so snaps to you Leigh Bardugo. The brief love story is not too sappy but perfect enough.  Also, if you are looking for a nice, fast summer read this is it.  It is also a series and the second book is out in bookstores in the U.S. Overall I was very entertained throughout and I always wanted to know what would happen next.  Image
